What's in my Filofax?

After watching countless videos on YouTube and reading many (MANY) blogposts on this topic, I was inspired to film my own contribution. I'm talking, of course, about Filofax! Seeing so many wonderful ways to customise and enjoy the Filofax, I have organised it into sections that suit my needs. That's what I love about the Filofax-it's so versatile, everyone can make it their own. Starting with the colour, size, fabric, pattern, style...continuing onto the types and amounts of inserts you want and need. It truly is a wonderful way to organise and get your life together.
What I love about my Finsbury (aside from everything) is all the different pockets it has, as well as the ring size. The pockets allow me to carry money and scraps of paper safely, without it falling out. I love the large zip pocket at the back for this particular reason. The ring size is great too, as you can stuff it to the brim if you're a hoarder like me! Another thing I loved about the original inserts was the financial divider and sheets. I'm constantly trying to improve my bill organisation and staying on top of payments and other financial matters, and having designated sheets helps with this in a major way.
As you'll see in the pictures below, I have made some dividers and little tabs which helps with quick access to the main sections.
The only thing I can complain about is the diary inserts, because the weekends are quite small. I think this is a bit of an outdated concept, with Filofax presuming that everyone works 9-5 Monday through Friday. I find, though, that my weekends are as busy, if not more busy, than my weekdays, with chores, family commitments, social outings, work, as well as homework, study and reading. So personally, I would prefer if the weekends were the same size as the weekdays, but I'm not going to dwell on it too much ha ha ha!
Other than that, I love everything about my Filofax. It's big enough to write comfortably on the go, but not so big that it doesn't fit in my bag. This helped me make the decision to go for the personal size, rather than the A5, which would've been too big I feel. The leather is very soft and "buttery" and looks like it would hold up well for years to come.
If you're thinking about trying out a Filofax I would recommend the personal size and the Finsbury style. They come in a variety of colours, and even though they're quite pricey (this one was around 70 euro), but because I use it everyday I chose to go for quality over quantity. Rather than buy a new diary every year it made more sense for me to purchase a Filofax and swap out the inserts every year.
